Piano lessons for children

One-to-one piano lessons for children from 12 in Vilnius, Pilaitė. Learning music should be fun and free of stress — and that is how we teach it.

From the age of 12

The studio teaches adults and children from 12. At that age students can say what music they want to play and work towards goals of their own, so their opinion counts in every lesson.

Whether your child is a complete beginner or has been to music school, at the first lesson we see what they can already do and carry on from there. Lessons can be in English, Lithuanian or Russian — handy for international families.

What we do in lessons

  • Reading music, with interactive scores.
  • Rhythm, with djembe drums, an egg shaker and rhythm sticks.
  • Playing by ear: recognising notes and chords, picking out tunes without sheet music.
  • Improvising and making up melodies, from the very first lessons.
  • Repertoire chosen together: classical, folk, jazz, rock and arrangements of pop songs.
  • Accompanying singers and playing in an ensemble.

We arrange the songs your child loves especially for them, and adapt difficult pieces they like to their level, at no extra cost.

For parents

Every year we hold music evenings in concert halls around Vilnius. Students who would rather not perform in front of others can record a video instead. A concert is not an exam — it is a chance to show the family what has been learned.

Practice becomes a habit more easily when it is short and frequent. What helps most is your interest: ask your child to play you what they learned this week.

A parent or guardian fills in the booking form. Lesson times are arranged individually, so they can fit around school and other activities. There is no long-term contract: you pay only for the lessons attended.
