Terms of sale
These terms apply when you buy access to the interactive textbook «Piano for adults» (Fortepijonas suaugusiems) or subscribe to «Amadeus Music — prenumerata» (the Amadeus Music subscription), and when you use that access. By buying or subscribing, you confirm that you have read them and agree to them.
Seller
UAB Hazerim Interactive Entertainment, company code 304843912, VAT LT100011788718, Ukmergės g. 228A-8, Vilnius, Lithuania. E-mail for buyers: info@amadeusmusic.lt (the Amadeus music studio answers). Lessons are given by the Amadeus music studio (Oksana Karataj); these terms do not apply to lessons.
What you buy
The textbook «Piano for adults» runs in your browser at amadeusmusic.lt/adult-beginners/. It is digital content: animated chapters with narration, notation, a playable keyboard, questions and exercises. The chapters are narrated in Lithuanian and English.
The first 5 chapters and the trainers are free. There are two plans:
- One-time purchase — online access to chapters 6–20 of the textbook «Piano for adults».
- Subscription «Amadeus Music — prenumerata» — online access to every textbook track on the site, including tracks added later, and the trainers, for as long as the subscription runs (see «Subscription»).
It is not a download: the chapters open when you are signed in to your account. Access is personal, non-transferable and tied to the buyer's e-mail address.
Price and payment
The one-time purchase costs 39 €, VAT included, paid once. The subscription costs 9.90 € a month, VAT included, paid monthly. The final price is shown on the payment page before you pay.
Payments are taken by Stripe: you pay by card (or another method offered there) on Stripe's payment page, and we never receive your card details. Stripe e-mails you a receipt for every payment.
Delivery and your account
Access starts as soon as the payment is confirmed. It is tied to the e-mail address you signed in and paid with. You sign in without a password: you type your e-mail address and receive a one-time sign-in link. The cookie amadeus_session keeps you signed in on the device (it lasts 180 days and is deleted when you sign out). How we handle account data is described in the privacy notice.
If access has not opened within a few minutes of paying, write to us.
Right of withdrawal
A consumer can usually withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium this right does not apply once supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m); Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, Art. 6.22810(2)(13)).
Access starts immediately, both for the one-time purchase and for the subscription, so before you pay, the payment page asks you to tick this statement:
I agree to the terms of sale. I ask for access to the digital content to start immediately after payment, and I understand that I thereby lose my right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days.
You cannot pay without it. Once you have ticked it and access has started, the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies, so we do not refund a change of mind. This does not limit your rights if the textbook does not work as described in these terms: in that case write to us (see «Complaints»).
How long access lasts
One-time purchase. Access lasts for as long as the service runs, and at least 3 years from purchase. If we close the service less than 3 years after your purchase, we will tell you by e-mail and refund the part of the price proportional to the time left until 3 years. If the full price is refunded, access ends.
Subscription. Access lasts while the subscription is active and ends as described under «Subscription».
Subscription
The subscription «Amadeus Music — prenumerata» costs 9.90 € a month, VAT included. It renews automatically every month until you cancel it: at the start of each new month Stripe charges the same payment method.
You can cancel at any time on your account page, through the Stripe customer portal. After you cancel, access continues until the end of the period you have paid for and then ends; we do not refund the unused part of a period.
If a monthly payment fails and Stripe cannot collect it on its retries either, access ends 3 days after the last failed attempt.
We will announce any change to the subscription price by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from the next renewal; if you do not accept it, you can cancel before then.
Student codes
The teacher can give students of the Amadeus studio a code that opens the same chapters free of charge. A code works once, is personal and is not for sale. Access from a student code may be revoked when the student no longer takes lessons at the studio. A trial code opens the chapters for the number of days stated. The 3-year minimum does not apply to free access.
Use and intellectual property
The textbook is for you alone, for your own learning. Do not share your account or sign-in links, and do not copy, distribute or publicly show the textbook's content.
The textbook's texts, animations and narration belong to their authors and are protected by copyright. The narration voice is synthesised (ElevenLabs) under a commercial licence. The piano sounds are Salamander Grand Piano recordings (licence CC BY 3.0) and the music font is Bravura (licence SIL Open Font License); they are used under their licences.
Availability
We aim to keep the textbook running at all times but cannot promise uninterrupted access: it is sometimes briefly unavailable for maintenance or updates. The textbook needs a modern browser with sound; on a phone, use it in landscape. We do not guarantee that it works on other devices or browsers.
We may correct and extend the content, but we never reduce access you have bought. The textbook helps you learn, but we cannot guarantee particular results — they depend on your practice.
Complaints
If something does not work or you have a complaint, write to info@amadeusmusic.lt. We will answer within 14 days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can turn to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (vvtat.lt), which settles disputes between consumers and sellers out of court.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer living in another country, this does not take away the protection that the consumer law of your country gives you.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when the law or the way the textbook works changes. We will tell buyers about changes by e-mail. Changes never reduce access you have already bought. The current version is always published on this page.
