Piano lessons in Vilnius

Lessons are taught in English, Russian or Lithuanian — just say in the booking form which suits you — so piano lessons for expats are simply piano lessons. Your teacher, Oksana Karataj, is a professional classical pianist who studied at ESMUC in Barcelona and at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.

Perhaps you played before and stopped when you moved, or you are starting from scratch. Either way the method is chosen for you, and we pick the repertoire together — from classical to jazz, rock and pop.

• Reading music, with interactive scores.
• Feeling the rhythm, with djembe drums, an egg shaker and rhythm sticks.
• Playing by ear and picking out tunes without sheet music.
• Improvising and composing your own melodies.
• Accompanying your own singing and playing in an ensemble.
• Performing at our yearly music evenings in Vilnius concert halls — or recording a video without an audience.

1. Fill in the booking form on the home page with the times that suit you.
2. We reply by phone or e-mail and agree on a lesson time.
3. At the first lesson we talk about your goals and see what you already know.
4. You pay by bank transfer or in cash, only for the lessons you attend. No contract.

Lesson times are arranged individually. Questions are welcome too — write them in the form or give us a call.
